Designing Meaningful User Interactions
UX (User Experience) refers to a user's feelings after interacting with digital products; UX incorporates how users feel about using digital products. This includes a wide range of things, including usability, clarity, performance and sporadic emotional response throughout their journey from first clicking through to the completion of a task. By providing a good user experience for users, this assures that their experience will feel as if it was done to the best of their ability and may even be regarded as confusing or frustrating when using that application.
The designer creates a map of users' journeys, discovers possible areas that may need improvement and allows users to accomplish desired results, between their first click and completing a task, as easily as possible.
UX does not draw attention to itself, and a great UX allows the user to complete their task in an uninterrupted fashion without additional instruction or experience. As a result, companies can improve engagement and provide their customers with a higher conversion rate and lower costs for support. Additionally, increasing brand trust is a key driver for companies that want to build their customer base.
UX design provides an opportunity for companies to be leaders in their category. When a company provides an intuitive product and values time, customers create strong brand loyalty and continue to use that product for years. The user produces technology based on the needs and desires of users, rather than the other way around.
