Understanding Image Resolution
Resolution measures the amount of detail an image holds, usually in pixels per inch (PPI). High resolution ensures images look sharp and professional on all devices.
Resolution is the density of pixels in an image. We measure it in PPI (pixels per inch). If you take a low-res image and stretch it out, the computer has to guess the missing data, resulting in a blurry, pixelated mess. With modern "Retina" and 4K screens, the standard for crispness has gone up. We have to balance high resolution (for quality) with file size (for speed). We want the product screenshots to look sharp, but we don't want the page to take 10 seconds to load.
