Highlighting with Pull Quotes

A pull quote is a key phrase or excerpt pulled from the main text and enlarged. It serves as a visual hook to break up dense copy and entice the reader.

A pull quote is that moment in a magazine article where a catchy sentence is blown up huge in the middle of the page. Functionally, it’s a hook. If a user is skimming a Supportsoft case study, they might stop when they see a big, bold quote about "Increasing efficiency by 200%." That hook drags them back into reading the full article.

It also serves a structural purpose: it breaks up the "wall of text." A page of solid gray paragraphs is intimidating. A pull quote adds white space and visual variety, giving the reader’s brain a quick reset.
