KPIs for Measuring Digital Marketing Success
The KPI, or Key Performance Indicator, represents a company's business goals, measuring all of the efforts that have been made by the organisation for achieving those goals. In addition to measuring the company’s development, KPI also helps to create accountability within the departments involved in marketing, including digital and traditional marketing.
Common KPIs for digital marketing include traffic (number of visitors) to the website, conversion rates, cost per acquisition (CAC), and return on investment (ROI). Choosing the correct indicators will depend on organisations' strategic business goals.
For IT and ITES companies, KPIs will determine the revenue growth and success of marketing efforts and customers. Analytics tools will allow for real-time monitoring and reporting.
Having clear KPIs will allow the company to make informed business decisions, continue to develop its workforce and measure its overall success in the future.
