Analogous Color Harmony
Analogous colors sit immediately next to each other on the color wheel. They create serene, comfortable designs that feel harmonious and naturally unified.
Analogous colors are neighbors. They sit right next to each other on the color wheel—think Blue, Blue-Green, and Green. Because they share a common DNA, they blend together beautifully without any vibrating contrast.
This scheme mimics nature (think of the leaves in a forest or the water in the ocean). We use analogous colors when we want the design to feel serene and comfortable. It’s great for background patterns where we want visual interest but don't want to scream for attention.
